Tbilisi – Borjomi: 160 km

The first point on the route will be the resort town of Borjomi. You can walk around the city center and the park with the mountain river and be surrounded by green mountains. The main attraction of the park is a pump room with free mineral water. And here you can also see a beautiful waterfall and ride a cable car to look at the Borjomi Gorge from above.

Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe (Rabat fortress): 50 km

After a walk around Borjomi, the driver will take you to Akhaltsikhe: to see the ancient Rabat fortress, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The fortress began to be built in the XIII century. It was destroyed and rebuilt several times. Now a museum and an Orthodox church have been opened on its territory.

Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia (cave monastery): 62.6 km

The cave city in Vardzia began to be carved into the mountain as early as XII. Until now, about 600 rooms up to 60 meters deep have been preserved here. The premises are carved into 13 floors, and the total length of the city is 900 meters. You can wander up the stairs between floors and enter the cave rooms (bring comfortable shoes).
